Brothers Beer City Works Depot
Located in the newly refurbished City Works Depot, a 1960’s ex council works and warehouse building recently developed into hospitality and office spaces. Projects sometimes don’t get much better than this, an old industrial warehouse space, a brewery and all located within a three minute walk of our studio.
This design was very much a collaboration with the owners of the business and it proved a fruitful one. Due to the nature of the business and the size of the space we needed to be very efficient and functional with the forms and activities inserted into the space. There were hygiene and drainage issues to address as well as budget constraints. All challenges were worked through and achieved and the brewery and tasting room is now sought out by beer emphasis from all over the world.
What our client says……
“We have worked on a number of successful projects with AJ and the MA Studio team over the past few years. Whether it has been transforming an old 1000m2 warehouse or a smaller interior fitout project, we always get a high level of service with a creative design approach. The functional use of our buildings and spaces is also hugely important and is another strong suit of MA Studio. We love the collaborative nature of our working relationship and it has proven to be successful one.” – Anthony Browne, Brothers Beer.
